Rainbow 80# ®
RAINBOW® 80# is a standard 80 lb cover material commonly used for full covers, sides, spines, and endleaf applications in hardcover book production. It is also used as a general-purpose wrap for packaging across a range of industries, including wine and spirits, fragrance, fashion, apparel, and food. The material provides added thickness compared to RAINBOW® 70 and is compatible with common printing methods such as screen, UV, and offset printing. It can also be decorated with blind or foil stamping. Fiscagomma Agenda
This Italian cover material gives the luxurious look of leather at a much more affordable price. The surface allows the product to be burnished for a two-tone effect. Heat burnishing conditions are achieved between 350 degrees F to 375 degrees F for 0.5 seconds and a pressure of 2 bars. For heavier embossing a dwell time of 0.7 seconds and a pressure of 3 bars would be recommended.
